What to do
This issue was fixed in PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange, version 3.0.1. Please update to the new version to resolve this issue.
If you performed one of the following workarounds, you should undo your changes once you have updated to the new version:
- Disable the 'Disclaimers' option
- Enable Recipient Validation to filter out invalid recipients
- Change the disclaimer settings: add the recipient domain that the email is intended for
- Create a rule in your email client to filter out these alerts.
Details of how to configure these options are given in the PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange user manual, in the section 'Transport (SMTP) scanning configuration'.
Technical information
This error is due to an email body part which cannot have a disclaimer appended. The errors seem to be attached to mails sent to non-valid recipients and generated against non-delivery reports.
If you need more information or guidance, then please contact technical support.
