PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange: configuring support for Office 2007 iFilters

Issue

PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange, version 3.0, will not search for phrases or regular expressions within Office 2007 file formats.

This is because the Office 2007 iFilters have not been made available to PureMessage.

What to Do

Install Office 2007 on to your PureMessage server. This makes the Office 2007 iFilters available to PureMessage.
