Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux: savscan does not work after RPM installation
In some circumstances, savscan may not work after a RPM installation of Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux. A message similar to the following is displayed:
-bash:/user/local/bin/savscan : No such file or directory
In equivalent circumstances, savscan can be run after a tar installation.
This happens when Sophos Anti-Virus was installed and uninstalled in the same terminal window before the RPM installation. Information on the previous installation is still in memory.
What to do
- Start a new shell.
- Run savscan again.
