"Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+" is shorthand for Sophos Anti-Virus, version 7, which runs on the following operating systems:

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows 2003
• Windows Vista
• Windows Server 2008
• Windows 7

NOTE:
Operating systems supported by earlier versions of "Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+", are as follows:

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows 2003

and Sophos Anti-Virus, version 7 and above, which also runs on

• Windows Vista (except Ultimate)

and Sophos Anti-Virus, version 7.1 and above, which also runs on

• Windows Server 2008
  (Note, Sophos Anti-Virus, version 7.1 does not support Server Core installations of Windows Server 2008; however, Endpoint Security and Control version 9 can be installed on a Server Core installation.)

As of version 9, Sophos Anti-Virus is now a part of Endpoint Security and Control.
