EM Library: reconnecting to existing libraries when upgrading

When upgrading Sophos Anti-Virus, you may need to reconnect to an existing library in EM Library.

• A separate knowledgebase article describes how to reconnect to remote libraries.
• If a library that was already displayed in the left-hand pane of the console is no longer displayed, snap it in.

What to do

1. Open EM Library using one of these methods:
   • In Sophos Enterprise Console, on the toolbar, click 'Libraries'.
   • Select Start|Programs|Sophos|EM Library|Sophos EM Library Console.
2. Click 'Open Library'.
3. In the EM Library Properties dialog box, in the first text box, type the path to the computer that has the library. Ensure that the same computer's name is displayed in the second text box.
4. In the EM Library dialog box, click 'Yes' to upgrade the library.

The library should now appear in the EM Library console, with all your existing settings, including updating location and subscriptions, preserved.
