Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X: user interface crashes with no error message when scanning European characters

The Sophos Anti-Virus user interface on Mac OS X computers can crash when an on-demand scan encounters file names with accented European characters on Japanese Intel Mac OS X systems.

No error message may be generated.

This issue will be fixed in a future version of Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X.
