Error "Uncaught IException in UI Notifier child code"

With Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux, an error message is generated if a floppy disk with a boot sector virus is present in the floppy disk drive, and either of the following is done:

• running 'savdctl stop savd'
• on starting the computer, where the floppy drive is included in 'ScanOnEnable'.

The error message displayed is as follows:

Uncaught IException in UI Notifier child code: (../src/modules/Common/EventsImpl/NotificationEventImpl.cpp:200) CEA003 Can't return environment as none was provided.

The virus will be reported correctly in email notifications, the product log, and the system log.

This message can be safely ignored, after reviewing any virus reports in

• email notifications
• the product log
• the system log.
