Customising installation and removal

EM Library uses the Microsoft installer 'Msiexec', which you can run at the command line, to install or remove EM Library and console.

What to do

• To install EM Library console, run:
  msiexec /I "path to Sophos EM Library Console.msi" /qn
• To uninstall EM Library console, run:
  msiexec /x "{D52B7F4F-DC74-4EFC-89C7-CA644E4D22A4}" /qn
• To install EM Library, run:
  msiexec /I "path to \Program Files\Sophos Enterprise Manager\console\bin\inst\Sophos EM Library.msi" /qn
The above text should be on one line.
• To uninstall EM Library, run:
  msiexec /x "{6EA1A75B-CACE-482F-8424-7ED10E4FC53E}" /qn
'/qn' selects silent install/uninstall mode.

You can also run the Microsoft installer 'Msiexec' from a script.
