Sophos PureMessage SBE: after Sophos PureMessage SBE is installed, auto-updating fails on Sophos Anti-Virus SBE
A shield icon is displayed in the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen on computers where Sophos
If both of the Sophos Small Business Suite components
- Sophos
Anti-Virus SBE - Sophos PureMessage Small Business Edition (SBE)
are present on the computer, and an update has failed, the shield icon will display a red cross.
An update can fail when the Sophos Control Center has not been configured to download anti-spam updates.
What to do
To configure the Sophos Control Center to download anti-spam updates
- open the Sophos Control Center
- select 'Configure updating'
- select the Software tab
- select 'Anti-spam updates' (tick the check box)
- click 'OK'
- select 'Update now'.
The computer will download the lastest updates.
