Advisory: Endpoint Security with Enterprise Console v 4 and Sophos SBE with Control Center v 4 will have their Sophos Anti-Virus automatically updated to v 9.5.4 over a two-week period in November

If you are using Sophos Enterprise Console, you can confirm that you will receive this update by opening the software subscription dialog in Enterprise Console and looking for the license name 'Endpoint Security'.

This update applies to the following customers:

• All small business customers using Sophos Control Center v. 4 will be automatically re-subscribed to 9.5.4
• All Enterprise Console v. 4 customers using Sophos Anti-Virus v. 9.0.x will be automatically re-subscribed to 9.5.4.

You will need to reboot your computers in order for the updates to take effect; however, please be assured that your Sophos anti-virus protection will not be compromised in the interim before the required reboot is completed.

Please note: Customers using EM Library to download updates and customers running Endpoint Security and Control will not be affected.

We would also like to remind you of the following change to Sophos Anti-Virus that will be occurring during the same period: The November 2010 Sophos Anti-Virus virus data files update may be up to 45 MB in size.
