Vendor description An integer overflow vulnerability exists within Adobe Reader 9.3.3 (cooltype.dll) and prior versions when parsing a specially crafted pdf file.
SophosLabs comments This update addresses a vulnerability in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat for the Windows, Macintosh and Unix platforms. While the vulnerability may yield remote code execution upon viewing a specially crafted pdf, absence of samples seen in the wild and existence of a patch have given us cause to rate this a medium level threat.
