What is the Sophos Control Center?

The Sophos Control Center is a central console that permits administration of Sophos Anti-Virus SBE over the entire network from one location.

How do I open the Sophos Control Center?

Windows 2000

• At the Windows taskbar, select Start|Programs|Sophos|Sophos Control Center.

Windows XP Professional and Windows 2003

• At the Windows taskbar, select Start|All Programs|Sophos|Sophos Control Center.

What does the Sophos Control Center enable me to do?

The Sophos Control Center allows the administrator to

• view the current status of Sophos Anti-Virus on networked computers
• install or update Sophos Anti-Virus on networked computers
• automatically download anti-virus updates from the Sophos website
• configure anti-virus options for all computers on the network
• configure Sophos Client Firewall (if you have it installed)
• configure reporting options for all computers on the network
• access the Sophos website for technical support
• view the latest news bulletins from Sophos.
