Which algorithms are supported?
Answer
AES-256 is the default encryption algorithm.
It is also possible to create archives with 128 bit key length (AES-128) for compatibility with older versions of PrivateCrypto and the Windows Mobile platform.
The Windows Mobile version of SafeGuard PrivateCrypto only supports AES with 128 bit key length.
Please take this into account when sharing encrypted archives with the Windows (Mobile) platform.
