EM Library: selecting packages for subscription

EM Library makes available packages to keep Sophos Anti-Virus up to date on many platforms. For each platform, a package is available for the 'Latest' version, and Sophos will keep earlier releases of Sophos Anti-Virus on the databank for up to three months (Windows products) or two months (all other platforms).

What to do

Sophos recommends that you subscribe to the 'Latest' packages, because you will automatically receive the latest version each month as well as new virus identity (IDE) files.

Subscribe to the packages one platform at a time, downloading and testing each version before moving on to the next. The deployment mechanisms vary slightly for each target platform, so care must be taken to ensure that the client computers are actually receiving the updates.
