The figures for items swept and viruses found by MailMonitor for SMTP - Windows NT/2000/2003 appear to fluctuate in the SAVI tabbed page when MailMonitor for SMTP is running. MailMonitor for SMTP is a multi-threaded application. The 'Items swept' in the SAVI tabbed page could vary depending on the thread.
By default, MailMonitor for SMTP starts with five threads responsible for processing emails from the process queue. You could therefore see up to five different values (all incrementing) in the SAVI tabbed page.
