PureMessage for UNIX: making the pmx_log more verbose
Unlike the message_log, the pmx_log does not present each message as a one-line summary, but rather records debug, info, notice, warning and error messages from the pmx-milter process. You can adjust the verbosity of this log.
What to do
To make the PureMessage system log more verbose, in the /opt/pmx/etc/pmx.conf file, increase the setting for the debug_level to 3 or greater. For more information, see the pmx.conf man page.
Note: Increasing the debug_level could noticeably slow mail throughput on heavily loaded servers, particularly when it is set to a value greater than 2.
