PureMessage for UNIX: identifying which version is installed
To determine the version of PureMessage installed on your system, enter pmx version at a command prompt. The version number and license information are displayed.
To list the versions of all installed components, enter pmx-verify at the command prompt. This produces a report that lists each of PureMessage's installed components with the version number of the component and the date the component was installed or upgraded.
As it analyzes the components, pmx-verify checks if any files within the component have been changed since the component was installed or upgraded. If files have changed, the component line is marked with "[*]", and the modified file is listed at the bottom of the report.
