| Some customers have contacted Sophos regarding the "Blankey.STCN" virus. Investigation by Sophos researchers has determined that users are not infected by a virus, but are receiving a false alarm from Norton Anti-Virus, produced by Symantec. Apparently the false alarm is caused when Norton Anti-Virus fails to update properly, resulting in a mismatched set of files. Sophos recommends users contact Symantec technical support for assistance. |
