Sprechen sie Deutsch?

Even if you don’t speak German, you should be able to spot an offer too good to be true.

Mule email

The above is an example of the international nature of phishing groups. The email when translated has some choice phrases e.g. ” work times amount to 2 to 8 hours in the week Internet, E-Mail, basic knowledge of the main payment systems.”.

The job on offer like so many seen in spam is effectively money laundering (illegal in most jurisdictions). Phishing groups use these ‘mules’ to transport the stolen money to their own bank accounts.

It would be nice to earn 500 to 1000 Euros for 2 to 8 hours work but this offer will turn out to be too good to be true. In the eyes of the law ignorance is not an excuse :-(
