WM97/Chack-B is a relatively simple virus. When the user selects Exit from the File menu or About from the Help menu, it places a picture on the screen. Sometimes the virus does not include the picture; in this case nothing is seen, as the virus suppresses error message reporting.
WM97/Chack-B hides the Macro toolbar menu and disables the ALT-F11 key sequence.
