W32/SillyFDC-BU is a worm for the Windows platform.
W32/SillyFDC-BU includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run W32/SillyFDC-BU copies itself to:
<Windows>\scvvhsot.exe
<System>\blastclnnn.exe
<System>\scvvhsot.exe
and creates the following files:
<System>\autorun.ini
<System>\setting.ini
The file autorun.ini is detected as W32/SillyFDC-AE.
The following registry entry is created to run scvvhsot.exe on startup:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Yahoo Messengger
<System>\SCVVHSOT.exe
The following registry entry is changed to run scvvhsot.exe on startup:
