W32/Looked-ED is a prepending virus and network worm for the Windows platform.
W32/Looked-ED spreads by infecting Windows executable files on the local computer and on shared network drives.
W32/Looked-ED spreads by infecting Windows executable files on the local computer and on shared network drives.
W32/Looked-ED includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run W32/Looked-ED copies itself to:
<Windows>\uninstall\rundl132.exe
and creates the following file:
<Windows>\RichDll.dll - also detected as W32/Looked-ED.
The following registry entry is created to run W32/Looked-ED on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
