W32/Vanebot-AL is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
W32/Vanebot-AL runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.
When first run W32/Vanebot-AL copies itself to <System>\explorer.exe and creates the file <Current Folder>\hboj.bat.
The following registry entry is created to run W32/Vanebot-AL on startup:
