W32/Stepan-B is a mid-infecting polymorphic virus. The virus attempts to inject itself into the Explorer process or into the process with the topmost window.
W32/Stepan-B infects EXE files on the local machine and in shares.
On computers located in the US the virus will attempt to overwrite files with zeros on certain days.
