More Information

W32/DelCyc-A is a worm with backdoor functionality for the Windows platform.

W32/DelCyc-A runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer.

W32/DelCyc-A may attempt to spread to removable storage devices by copying itself into [Device:]\recycled\sys.exe. The worm also creates autorun.inf on the removable storage devices containing a script that will automatically execute recycled\sys.exe when the device is connected to another computer.
