W32/Blaster-L is a worm for the Windows platform.

W32/Blaster-L attempts to spread to computers vulnerable to the RPC-DCOM vulnerability (MS04-012).

W32/Blaster-L includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP, and attempts to download and run more malicious software from a remote website.

When first run W32/Blaster-L copies itself to <System>\huy2.exe.

The following registry entry is created to run huy2.exe on startup:
