More Information
Troj/StartPa-KL changes the start page of Microsoft Internet Explorer. The Trojan will copy itself to the Windows folder as svchost.exe and execute the copy. Troj/StartPa-KL will also attempt to start Microsoft Internet Explorer repeatedly on a random interval.
Troj/StartPa-KL sets the following registry entry to cause execution at start up:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
svchost = "<Windows folder>\svchost.exe"
Changes the start page to http://traff.biz.
