More Information
Troj/SpamToo-X is a spamming Trojan for the Windows platform.
When run Troj/SpamToo-X creates the following two files in the Windows system folder:
sporder.dll - a clean file.
rsvp32_2.dll - a layered service provider that periodically contacts a URL .
When the layered service provider is registered a number of registry entries are modified under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinSock2\Parameters\
The Trojan will also create registry entries under:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WinSock2\Buibert\
Troj/SpamToo-X will send spam messages via instant messaging and webmail services.
