Troj/Loony-Gen is a family of backdoor Trojans which allow unauthorised remote
access to the infected computer via IRC channels.
Troj/Loony-Gen backdoor Trojans usually copy themselves to the Windows system
folder and create the following registry entry so as to run themselves on
system startup:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Troj/Loony-Gen backdoor Trojans often display a fake error message, with
examples of the message text including the following:
"A valid driver.dll file was not found"
"A valid dll file was not found"
"A valid data link was not found, deleting file"
