Troj/Lineage-AT is a password stealing Trojan for the Windows platform that attempts to steal passwords associated with the game called "Lineage".
Troj/Lineage-AT includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run Troj/Lineage-AT copies itself to <Windows>\java\playavi.exe.
The following registry entry is created to run playavi.exe on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Troj/Lineage-AT modifies the HOSTS file which maps the URLs of selected websites to a loopback IP address or to its own IP addresses, in order to prevent access to certain sites and to control/hijack browsing.
Troj/Lineage-AT may also try to terminate security related processes.
