Troj/LegMir-BE is a password stealing Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/LegMir-BE contains functionality to download and execute a file from a predefined URL without the users permission.

When first run Troj/LegMir-BE copies itself to <System>\wscnty.exe and creates the following files:

<System>\GroupPolicy\Machine\Scripts\scripts.ini
<Windows>\vbarun.dll

The files scripts.ini and vbarun.dll are not malicious and can simply be deleted.

The following registry entry is created to run wscnty.exe on startup:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run
KernelCheck
<System>\wscnty.exe

Troj/LegMir-BE may try to terminate security related processes.
