You should also change your Internet Explorer settings using Tools|Internet options|General to remove any modifications made by the Trojan.
Windows NT/2000/XP/2003
In Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 you will also need to edit the following registry entries. The removal of these entries is optional in Windows 95/98/Me. Please read the warning about editing the registry.
At the taskbar, click Start|Run. Type 'Regedit' and press Return. The registry editor opens.
Before you edit the registry, you should make a backup. On the 'Registry' menu, click 'Export Registry File'. In the 'Export range' panel, click 'All', then save your registry as Backup.
Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE entry:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
xp_system
<Windows>\inetdata\services.exe
and delete it if it exists.
Each user has a registry area named HKEY_USERS\[code number indicating user]\. For each user locate the entry:
HKU\[code number]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
xp_system
<Windows>\inetdata\services.exe
and delete it if it exists.
Close the registry editor.
Editing Win.ini
At the taskbar, click Start|Run and type Sysedit. Bring Win.ini to the front. In the [windows] section, search for a line beginning with 'Run=' and delete any references to the files you removed. Delete only that reference, not any other text.
Reboot your computer.

At the taskbar, click Start|Run and type Sysedit. Bring System.ini to the front. In the 'shell=' line in the [Boot] section, search for any references to the files you deleted. Delete only that reference, not any other text.
Reboot your computer.

Troj/Krepper-F is a Trojan which changes browser settings and attempts to download and install new software.
The Trojan copies itself to the Windows\inetdata folder as services.exe and creates the following registry entries to run itself on user logon or system start:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
xp_system
<Windows>\inetdata\services.exe
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
xp_system
<Windows>\inetdata\services.exe
Troj/Krepper-F also attempts to modify the files win.ini and system.ini to run itself on system restart. Note, the operating system may create the following registry entry:
