More Information

Troj/KillAV-D attempts to terminate and/or remove various anti-virus software programs that are running on the computer.

Upon execution, Troj/KillAV-D drops itself to <Windows folder>\OleFiles as SinRed.exe and modifies the following registry entry in an attempt to run the files in <Windows folder>\OleFiles on startup:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell folders =
<Windows folder>\OleFiles

This could result in the Trojan being run on startup.
