Troj/Haxdoor-BM

Troj/Haxdoor-BM is a Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Haxdoor-BM runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer.

Troj/Haxdoor-BM includes functionality to:

- stealth its files, processes, registry entries and services
- prevent itself being terminated
- prevent itself being deleted
- disable other software, including anti-virus, firewall and security related applications

When Troj/Haxdoor-BM is installed the following files are created:

<System>\yvpp01.dll
<System>\yvpp01.sys
<System>\yvpp02.sys

The files qo.dll, qo.sys, yvpp01.dll, yvpp01.sys and yvpp02.sys are detected as Troj/Haxdor-Fam.

The following registry entries are created to run code exported by yvpp01.dll on startup:

The file yvpp01.sys is registered as a new system driver service named "yvpp01", with a display name of "NDIS OSI32" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\yvpp01\

The file yvpp02.sys is registered as a new system driver service named "yvpp02", with a display name of "NDIS OSI". Registry entries are created under:
