Troj/GrayBrd-AN is a backdoor Trojan which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer.

Troj/GrayBrd-AN may attempt to log keypresses, perform video captures, start a Proxy Server and steal Microsoft product keys. The Trojan will attempt to send the stolen information to a remote user via HTTP.

When first run Troj/GrayBrd-AN copies itself to <Windows folder>\Server.exe and creates the files:
<Windows folder>\Server.DLL
<Windows folder>\Server_HOOk.dll

The dlls are also detected as Troj/GrayBrd-AN.

The file Server.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "Server 2.0", with a display name of "Server 2.0" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Server 2.0

Troj/GrayBrd-AN changes settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer by modifying the following registry entry:
