Troj/Gravebot-A is an IRC backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/Gravebot-A runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.

Troj/Gravebot-A includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.

When first run Troj/Gravebot-A copies itself to <System>\codll.exe and creates the file <System>\sum.tgz. Sum.tgz is downloaded from a predefined URL.

The following registry entry is created to run codll.exe on startup:
