Troj/Gorgs-B is a keylogging and downloader Trojan for the Windows platform.

When first run Troj/Gorgs-B copies itself to <System>\svcroot.exe and creates the file <System>\svcroot.dll. The file <System>\svcroot.dll is also detected by Sophos as Troj/Gorgs-B.

Troj/Gorgs-B may also create the file <System>\stats.all.php. This file may be deleted.

The following registry entry is created to run Troj/Gorgs-B on startup:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Troj/Gorgs-B includes functionality to:

- log keystrokes to the file <System>\gorsys32.dll
- access the Internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP

Troj/Gorgs-B sends the keylogged information via email to a remote web address.
