Troj/Feutel-AS is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer. It can provide keylogging functionality and steal other information about the host.

When first run Troj/Feutel-AS moves itself to <Windows folder>\lass.exe and creates <Windows folder>\lass.dll which is a keylogging component of the Trojan.

The file lass.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "Gray_Pigeon_Server", with a display name of "Gray_Pigeon_Server" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Gray_Pigeon_Server\

Troj/Feutel-AS also registers <Windows folder>\<Windows temp folder>\mc22.tmp file as a new system driver service named "mchlnjDrv", with a display name of "mchlnjDrv" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
