Troj/Feutel-AC is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.
When first run Troj/Feutel-AC copies itself to <Windows>\IExplore.exe and creates the following files:
<Windows>\IExplore.DLL
<Windows>\IExploreKey.DLL
<Windows>\IExplore_HOOk.DLL
<Windows>\uninstal.bat
The file IExplore.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "SerDry_igeon_Server", with a display name of "SerDgeonServer" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SerDry_igeon_Server\
Troj/Feutel-AC changes settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer by modifying values under:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\
Troj/Feutel-AC contains functionality to record keystrokes.
