More Information
Troj/Dluca-V is a backdoor Trojan which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer.
Troj/Dluca-V includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run Troj/Dluca-V copies itself to <System>\pmcqt.exe.
The following registry entry is created to run pmcqt.exe on startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
pmcqt
<System>\pmcqt.exe /nocomm
Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\pmcqt\
HKCU\Software\pmcqt\
Troj/Dluca-V provides an uninstall option which can be accessed via the Add or Remove Programs dialog in the Windows Control Panel. The software is listed as "pmcqt".
