Troj/Dialer-DM is a dialer for the Windows platform.
Troj/Dialer-DM terminates the current dialup connection and reconnects to a premium rate line in order to access explicit content.
The dialer creates shortcuts to itself in the user's Desktop, Favorites, Quick Launch, My Documents and Start Menu folders with the following filenames:
W1inMoviePlugIn.lnk
exsplorer.lnk
e1xplorer.lnk
The dialer also modifies browser security settings.
Troj/Dialer-DM may be found in a zip archive, using double extensions to disguise the executable as a movie file.
