More Information

Troj/Coiboa-D is a Trojan spy for the Windows platform.

Troj/Coiboa-D runs in the background as a service process and spies on a user's activities. The Trojan is capable of logging keypresses and creating screen shots of the computer desktop.

Periodically, Troj/Coiboa-D may attempt to send the stolen information to a remote location by email.

When first run, Troj/Coiboa-D copies itself to the Windows System folder as REGCXN.EXE. In order to run automatically each time Windows is started, Troj/Coiboa-D sets the following registry entries:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Regcxn

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\Regcxn
