Troj/CashGrab-M is a Trojan for the Windows platform.

Troj/CashGrab-M monitors internet browser windows for certain banking websites, attempting to steal information if it finds them. Troj/CashGrab-M may attempt to contact scripts on remote websites to send logged data.

When Troj/CashGrab-M is installed the following files are created:

Msupdate.dll and swinsetup.exe are also detected as Troj/CashGrab-M. The other files are data and configuration files and may be safely deleted.

The file msupdate.dll is registered as a COM object and Browser Helper Object (BHO) for Microsoft Internet Explorer, creating registry entries under:
