Troj/Bdoor-RQ is a modified copy of the netcat utility, used to read and write data over network connections.

This modified version is coded to listen on a specific port and return a command prompt to an attacker when they telnet to that port. The versions of this modified tool seen by Sophos Anti-Virus listen on ports 99, 1984 and 5000.
