More Information
Troj/Bancban-FW is an information stealing Trojan targeted at customers of Brazilian banks.
When Troj/Bancban-FW displays a fake message box with the following text:
"Este programa ira realizar a atualizacao de seus arquivos de acesso ao Sistema Bradesco Net Empresa.
Atencao: Todos os certificados de acesso a conta devem ser atualizados para que nao ocorram problemas em seus futuros acessos e transacoes.
Informamamos que para realizar essa atualizacao voce deve estar conectado a internet."
Troj/Bancban-FW then displays a message box with the text "Confirme a senha local do certificado" and prompts the user to enter confidential information. This information is subsequently stored and sent via email to a remote location.
