More Information
Mal/MDrop-S is a malicious program for the Windows platform.
When first run Mal/MDrop-S copies itself to:
<Program Files>\<random>\<random>.exe
and creates the file:
<Windows>\<random>.log.
The file <random>.exe is registered as a new system driver service with a startup type of automatic so that it is started automatically during system startup.
Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<random>
The following registry entry is modified:
KHCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft \Explorer\Main\
