Troj/Maran-Z is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
When Troj/Maran-Z is installed the following files are created:
<Windows>\smss.exe - Detected as Troj/Maran-Z.
<System>\ou6viewer.dll - Detected as Troj/Maran-Z.
The file <Windows>\smss.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "NETDown", with a display name of "Card Adapter" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NETDown
