Troj/Bckdr-QLT is a worm for the Windows platform.
Troj/Bckdr-QLT includes functionality to access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP.
When first run Troj/Bckdr-QLT copies itself to <Common Files>\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\rejoicewei.exe and creates the following files:
<Common Files>\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\DaverDel.bat
<Windows>\SetupWay.TXT
These files are not malicious and can be deleted.
The file rejoicewei.exe is registered as a new system driver service named "Windows_wei", with a display name of "Windows_wei" and a startup type of automatic, so that it is started automatically during system startup. Registry entries are created under:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Windows_wei
