December 2007 - Sophos and its PR agency have been nominated for UK PR Campaign of the Year in the European Excellence Awards, following its investigation into Facebook privacy and security issues.
Top 40 Employers for 2008
October 2007 - Sophos has been chosed as one of British Columbia's Top 40 Employers for 2008. Last year Sophos was selected for the province's Top 30 Employers list.
Software Magazine's 'Software 500'
October 2007 - Sophos was ranked 150th in the annual review with software revenue of $178 million. The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers who target medium to large enterprises. The list is now in its 25th year.
International Stevie Awards 2007
September 2007 - The Stevie Awards name Sophos's Mark Hatton as finalist for Best Executive in North America. The awards recognize the efforts, accomplishments and positive contributions of business people worldwide.
CRN Channel Awards 2007 shortlist - Security Vendor of the Year
September 2007 - Computer Reseller News has shortlisted Sophos for the prestigious 'Security Vendor of the Year' award. The accolade recognizes the overall contribution Sophos has made to develop business opportunities for its channel partners.

August 2007 - Sophos has been named CMP Channel’s VARBusiness’s security software industry “Company of the Year” based on its Annual Report Card (ARC) survey.

October 2004 - Information Security Magazine investigated the state of the anti-virus industry's customer support, putting five vendors to the test: Computer Associates, McAfee, Symantec, Sophos and Trend Micro.

October 2004 - Sophos announced that it has ranked 19th in Deloitte's prestigious Canadian Technology Fast 50 program. The list ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Canada based on percentage of revenue growth over the past 5 years.

September 2004 - Sophos has been named as one of the world's largest software companies.
The 2004 Software 500 list, compiled by Software Magazine, puts Sophos 226th in a ranking of the world's foremost software and services providers.

September 2004 - Sophos has been named as a finalist for the Channel Awards 2004.
Computing ImageTrak survey
September 2004 - Sophos has been rated "Vendor of the Year" in the Security category of Computing's ImageTrak 2004 customer satisfaction survey. The study confirms that Sophos offers the highest level of customer satisfaction in the security industry. It is the second year running that Sophos has received the prestigious award.
European Security Company of the Year
June 2004 - Sophos has been named "European Security Company of the Year" by market consultants Frost & Sullivan. The award takes into account Sophos's business development, competitive strategy, and customer service leadership as well as outstanding management, consistent growth, and high quality products and services.
Queen's Award for Enterprise
April 2004 - Sophos has once again received the prestigious Queen's Awards for Enterprise, the UK's top award for business performance in the category of 'International Trade'.

March 2004 - "U.S. is top spam mailer, study says" - The Wall Street Journal reports on which countries send the most spam, based upon research by experts at Sophos.

Sophos, Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Anti-Virus
July 2003 - Gartner Inc., a leading IT research and advisory firm, has placed Sophos on its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Anti-Virus, 1H03, a report which compares leading vendors of enterprise anti-virus software.
In the research note about this Magic Quadrant, Gartner praises Sophos for providing "a top quality detection engine, superior customer service and broad platform support".

April 2003 - Sophos customer, Pilot Travel Centers, featured in PC Magazine, reveals the advantages of using Sophos over other anti-virus vendors.

April 2003 - Sophos has been named one of the UK's fastest growing companies at the Deloitte & Touche Indy 100 Awards 2003.
Butler Group analyst report
February 2003 - Butler Group, Europe's leading IT analyst company, has produced a report on Sophos and its products.
The report, entitled "Technology Evaluation and Comparison Report", examines Sophos and its products. In the full report Butler Group described Sophos as "the current market leader because of the quality of its anti-virus solutions and service. It is also flexible in its ability to tailor solutions to match different enterprises' needs." Moving into the future, Butler Group said that Sophos "likely to remain a leader with its excellent recognition and best-of-breed status in the market place."

December 2002 - Sophos has been recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe by the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu European Technology Fast 500 competition.

November 2002 - Sophos has been named the fastest growing secure content management software company in Australia according to industry analyst group IDC. IDC also reports that Sophos doubled its market share in the six month period to June 2002.

21 April 2002 - Sophos has been awarded two prestigious Queen's Awards for Enterprise, the UK's top awards for business performance in the categories of 'Innovation' and 'International Trade'.
