SafeGuard PortAuditor—a companion product to SafeGuard Enterprise Configuration Protection and SafeGuard PortProtector—provides a full view of the ports, devices and networks that are (or were previously) in use by your organization's users. You can use the output of a SafeGuard PortAuditor scan to select and approve devices and networks.
SafeGuard PortAuditor provides you with a comprehensive overview of connected peripheral devices and communication interfaces in your entire network. With SafeGuard PortAuditor you can immediately begin capturing critical data on the usage of USB, FireWire and PCMCIA ports in your organization. It also helps you recognize which Wi-Fi networks your endpoints have connected to.
SafeGuard PortAuditor is a non-intrusive, clientless software solution that captures the critical data that you need from each port. SafeGuard PortAuditor creates reports about devices currently connected to your network, as well as those previously connected. As an added SafeGuard PortAuditor PortAuditor can export these reports to MS Excel files that are preconfigured with the most commonly used queries.
